Your Ideal Pocket Monster Tales: Z-A Super Form According to the Zodiac Sign

The return of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has ignited immense enthusiasm within the fandom. Starting with the gradual unveiling of fresh additions before the title's launch, to trainers forming firm views on the full roster of Mega Evolutions, there's plenty for enthusiasts to look forward to.

Given many of the Super Forms boasting unique designs that emphasize their traits, one idea naturally: What's the best way to link this with zodiac signs? This list is based on a mix of vibes, sign stereotypes, and personal experience.

The Ram – Mega Camerupt

To be truthful, Houndour's evolution was nearly selected for this fire sign, as they are the Mega Pokémon and zodiac symbol that inspire the greatest apprehension. But, a Super Houndoom comes across as always angry, which isn't typical of the Aries vibe, renowned for being fun, cheerful, and spontaneous. That's why Aries far more akin to Super Camerupt, which only spews lava when angered. Remain on the good side of both and enjoy a powerful partner; should you offend them, be ready to get burned.

Taurus – Super Heracross

Much like a devoted Bull, the steadfast Heracross species, both in its regular and Mega form, has assisted many trainers in Legends: Z-A. While dependable, both the creature and a Taurus are also battle-oriented, and – be it their trainer or a firm belief – will stand up for their side to the end. The thing about Mega Heracross that recalls most of my Taurus friends, though, is its unashamed love of treats. Many previous official descriptions note their craving for sweet tree sap and how it employs its horn to collect it everything, which is pure Bull-sign vibe.

The Twins – Mega Medicham

Observe this absolute royalty. It's impossible to convince me this creature is not the soul of every party, offering an constant stream of gossip to those who wants to listen. Just like an enrapturing, gregarious Gemini, it's incredibly easy to envision Super Medicham mesmerizing an entire open area with their stories. This Pokémon's Pokédex entry also states its ability to predict an opponent's future actions, which sounds quite like a people-smart Twins.

The Crab – Super Manectric

Cancer is commonly regarded as the most emotional sign of the zodiac, a passionate symbol famous for often becoming absorbed in their feelings. Per the Pokédex, Super Evolution charges the Pokémon with a “tremendous amount of electricity, but it's excessive for this Pokémon to completely manage,” which seems a lot like a typical Crab emotional outburst. This Pokémon is also known for its ability to make a storm cloud over its own self – and if there’s one thing a Cancer is likely to do, it’s rain on their good time.

The Lion – Mega Starmie

Well, did you think I was going to select Pyroar for the lion of the stars? Besides the reality that it would be much too on the nose, Leo is clearly Mega Starmie, the diva whose gams just went viral for being extremely glamorous (or terrifying, depending on your taste). Players couldn’t look away from the violet starfish, and that’s exactly the same energy a Leo brings to the scene. This Pokémon is also rumored to be broadcasting signals from its center out into the cosmos, and it’s typical of a Lion to be putting on a performance, albeit for extraterrestrials.

The Maiden – Super Victreebel

The ever-prepared and perpetually-anxious Maiden is perfectly represented in Mega Victreebel, the Mega with constant acid reflux. The sign known for being charmingly judgmental is strongly reflected across this creature's entire evolutionary chain, from a perpetually surprised face like a Virgo when you inform them you lack a 401(k), to its inverted face that’s similar to the emoji a Virgo sends to the group chat when all says they want to “be spontaneous” rather than making a strategy.

Libra – Mega Audino

Observe this gentle, sensitive creature, who uses the sensors on its auditory organs to tell how people are feeling by their heartbeat. Consistently empathetic – sometimes to a detriment – and striving to maintain the harmony, there are numerous Libras who would probably appreciate Mega Audino’s abilities. However, to be frank, it would probably just cause them to worry even more about everyone else.

Scorpio – Mega Banette

This Ghost-type is a creature with a surprisingly sad origin: Abandoned as a toy, it became sentient through sheer hatred and swore revenge on its previous caretaker. Per the official info, Mega Evolution, “increases its spitefulness.” That seems precisely like several discussions I’ve had with my intense Scorpion friends. A Scorpio adores karma and comeuppance, making them the perfect pair with Mega Banette.

The Archer – Mega Hawlucha

Each Mega Hawlucha and Archers are always staging a show. Being a Sagittarius personally, the number of occasions I’ve referred to myself some version of a “playful small entertainer” is innumerable. The showiest and most obnoxious Mega Evolution, its description even notes how it “flexes to display its power.” I would do the exact same thing if I had some kind of Mega evolved form, making Mega Hawlucha the most fitting Archer counterpart I can think of.

Capricorn – Super Absol

Did you know that a Super Absol has the power to predict disasters ahead of time? That gives the identical vibe as a Goat, who tends to always believe they’re correct. Interestingly, similar to a visionary Super Absol, they often are. It’s also the absolute first Mega Evolution that trainers meet in Legends: Z-A – just like a Capricorn to join the beginning of the Super Form craze.

The Water Bearer – Super Chandelure

Detached air sign Water Bearer is arguably the non-fire sign that is closest to a fire sign – its counterpart is Leo, and there are numerous jokes about the Archer and Water Bearer being unpredictable accomplices. Super Chandelure's dual Spirit/Flame category fits seamlessly with this, and the Super Form's general daunting aura is also very Aquarius. If you hadn't yet convinced, the Mega’s description says it “absorbs hatred and converts it into strength.” If that fails to exactly {encaps
